Spain – a top supplier in Europe
Spain is one of Europe’s top blueberry suppliers, especially early in the year, supplying blueberries when most European countries are not yet in season. Main production area in Huelva. The season starts in early January, with peak season until May. Blueberries have a sweet to sweet-tart flavour, firm texture and dark blue skin.

Good firmness, medium to large berries, good sweetness. Varieties like Snowchaser, Emerald, Ventura and Rocio.
Mid-season (Mar — May)
Core export window; higher brix, better firmness and size. Varieties like Star, Jewel, Springhigh and AtlasBlue/Sekoya Pop.
Late-season (May — Jul)
Good shelf life, slightly softer. Varieties like Legacy, Aurora and Cargo/Last Call types.
