Spain is one of Europe’s largest producers of stone fruits, thanks to its Mediterranean climate, long growing season, and diverse agricultural regions. These fruits—characterized by a hard “stone” or pit in the center—are mostly cultivated in Murcia, Aragon, Catalonia, Valencia, and Extremadura.
